Breakaway in Exmouth in February 2019
This is not planned as a serious or competitive time, rather it is a relaxed, social get together with as much or as little mah jong as you wish. All we ask is that you play by Max Robertson’s rules so that everyone can play with anyone. If you score you are welcome to continue to do this, if you don’t score that’s fine too. Partners are welcome - they do not need to play mah jong. We have sole use of the ballroom for playing mah jong throughout the day and evening. In addition the Manor Hotel also offers a good sized bar and lounge area. The rooms are en-suite, with a hostess tray and hairdryer. There is a lift. The food is good and the hotel warm! Single rooms There are some 'bijou' en-suite rooms with a single bed which do not attract the singles supplement. The hotel management is currently unsure how many will be available for 2019 (due to ongoing refurbishment). As in previous years a bollot may be held to allocate the limited number of single rooms. As the hotel has only 38 bedrooms we ask that you consider sharing a twin room. Obviously we want to utilise the number of beds available for this event which is growing year by year, so please let us know if you would be prepared to share. To book Please send a deposit (non-refundable) of £20 per person. We need to know whether you want a single, double or twin room and also if you wish to stay 3 or 4 nights.
